Por soldados de mierda que fueron peor que indecentes
Atacando mujeres e infantes inocentes
Pa que la memoria de nuestra triste historia

Cause no one believes the brutality of our people
Cause Mayan priests were tortured under the steeple
Cause the 90% of our population are indigenous people
Who to this day have not been treated as equal

Porque lei Nunca Mas de portada a portada
Porque yo si reconozco la firma de paz no sirve de nada
Por 2 000 mujeres en el 2004 que fueron asesinadas
Designadas a ser violadas por maras y kedar tiradas sin nada

Because our ten years of spring were stolen
By the United Fruit Company and the puppets they were holding
Because the violence is growing and I don't know where Guatemala's future is going
Because of the seeds of hatred the government is still sowing

Cause Lucas Garcia died in 2006 of old age
And not from a stabbing inside of the cage
They should all be locked up in

I'm caught up with rage

Praying that these words might ignite
Another revolution in South America
Porque yo sali exiliado
Puro refugiado
Because a mutilated body in a book i once read
Was the corpse of my mama's friend who was dead
Tortured, raped and murdered and fed
To the media for the whole country to see
What happens to Chapines who want to be free
