We need a section on religion

This board needs a seperate sektion to tal kabout the blatant colonizing done by the church (christian) since it's inception. Beyond government, it's one of the issues that seriously keeps minorities down!

I've been looking to get into some religious discussions myself, but I think it should go under boxing ring and colonizer also. I have followed religion at one point in my life and it really limited my life, I broke free and feel so much more functional as a human being.

I'm tired of the put down of Christianity as some sort of brainwashing system. The fact is it is stepped in historical fact, and power. If some people use it for it's own purpose, that is a problem of man for centuries

Myself being raised Muslim, it's a tough fight to stay positive about faith when so much hate is incubated inside our spirutal homelands. i feel that one's faith must be a pure place to draw strength from in the face of adversity, not a superficial position to take to feel higher than the next man. all major religions are guilty of the sin of pride, of no god before my god, and that is the real trajedy of the issue. christians and muslims and jews and buddists and sikhs and all other peoples of the world, espescially those of us in the diaspora need to stop the pride and the arrogance, for all of our faiths look down on those who hold themselves higher than their brothers.

if we truly followed the words of our prophets and leaders we'd all be better off, instead of killing each other like animals.
