IN THEATRES NOW!!!!
Juss got to see this, film was done up alot better then what i expected. I thought it was gonna be a rip off of dangerous minds, but I must say it was done proper! I recommend this film for everyone! Especially for those that want a better understanding of the politics we as "marginalized" youth face with the public school system
So this movie was not about a white women bringing "civilization" to the wanton ghetto youth - like so many other countless 'urban' high school teacher flicks?
The theme of a white teacher correcting the corupt lives of racialized youth has bothered me - if this movie follows that trend - I would not be interested in seeing it - that's why I'm asking.
